A BRIEF HISTORY OF THE FUTURE 2050#EXHIBITION

This exhibition tells about the future international situation and the changes in daily life. From the world changed by the development of science and technology, we began to discuss the important topics such as over exploitation of natural resources, over consumption, social inequality, religious wars and so on.

As soon as I entered the exhibition hall, the first work I saw was the work of artist Ai Weiwei. This work is a square shaped sculpture compressed by tea leaves. Tea is closely related to the economic relationship between China and Europe. Traditionally, Pu'er tea is stored in this state in Yunnan Province, China.Through this installation art, he put Chinese history and economy related forms in the art field.

This large dollar is one of my most impressive works. I stand 20 minutes ahead of the work. This work is called ten thousand cents.

This is an artist, Aaron Koblin, which collects images from online participants through the Mechanical Turk platform and creates 100 dollar bills.

At the end of the assignment, Aaron Koblin released a message that they sold the pictures in thousands of dollars. It led to an uproar in the Mechanical Turk participants.

But that's exactly what the artist wants to express. The aim is to make people aware of the increasingly difficult situation of labor and the exploitation of labourers.

He wandered in New York. He offered meagre remuneration, asked the people to pose and let him to take pictures of them, and then put these large images in public space, forcing people to look at what they usually avoided.

Look at these works that hit my brain.

I think,

What do we want to build in the future?

This world is chaotic, but everyone can do their part.
